About Word Quad
Four word puzzles, one keyboard, nine guesses. Every five-letter word you type is played on all four boards at the same time, and each board colours its tiles to show how close you are: green for the right letter in the right spot, yellow for a letter that is in that word but somewhere else. Once a board is solved it stops taking guesses, so the trick is choosing words that help the boards still in play. The keyboard is split into quarters so you can see each board's clues at a glance. Play the daily set, or practise as often as you like. Free to play in your browser — no download, no sign-up.
How to Play
Type a five-letter word and press Enter — it counts on all four boards. Green: right letter, right spot. Yellow: in that board's word, wrong spot. Solve all four within nine guesses. Each board scores 100, plus 50 for every guess you have left.
