Tips & Strategy
Hunt for the pangram first -- using all seven letters is worth a huge bonus and often unlocks shorter words you'd have missed.
Try common prefixes and suffixes on the centre letter: -ing, -ers, -ate, re-, un-. They generate words fast.
Don't forget plurals and verb forms -- if a word counts, adding an S usually does too.
When stuck, mentally cycle each outer letter as the start of a word paired with the golden letter; it surfaces combinations your eye skipped.
