Balance the grid with 0s and 1s — no three alike in a row.
About Takuzu
The binary logic puzzle that out-sudokus sudoku with just two symbols. Fill the grid with 0s and 1s so every row and column carries an equal count of each, and no three identical digits ever touch in a line. Each puzzle is generated with exactly one solution, so every cell is deducible — no guessing required, ever. Deceptively simple, properly addictive. Free to play in your browser — no download, no sign-up.
How to Play
Tap a cell to cycle blank → 0 → 1. Each row and column needs equal 0s and 1s, and never three of the same in a row. Red highlights show broken rules. Fill every cell correctly to win.
Tips & Strategy
Two of a kind side by side? The cells on both ends must be the opposite digit — that's the bread-and-butter deduction.
A gap between two matching digits (1_1) must be filled with the opposite, or you'd make three in a row.
Count as you go: once a row holds its quota of 1s (half its length), every remaining cell is a 0. The last few cells of a line usually fill themselves.
Stuck? Test a cell mentally: assume a 0 and follow the forced chain. If it breaks a rule down the line, it's a 1. One-solution grids mean logic always gets there.
