Paint the sea around the islands — every number is an island's size.
About Nurikabe
A shading puzzle from Japan named after an invisible wall from folklore. Each number seeds an island of exactly that many white cells, and everything else must be flooded black as one connected sea. Islands may never touch each other except at corners, and the sea is forbidden from pooling into any two-by-two square. From these few rules grows one of the deepest, most rewarding pencil puzzles ever invented. Free to play in your browser — no download, no sign-up.
How to Play
Tap a cell to shade it as sea; tap again to mark it as island. Each numbered island must contain exactly that many white cells, and islands may not touch side-to-side. All the sea must connect as one region — and no 2×2 block may be entirely sea.
