Squeeze a row of 52 cards into a single pile by matching suit or rank — one or three places back.
About Accordion Solitaire
A charming Victorian patience game that is famously hard to win. The cards are laid out in one long row. Any pile may jump onto the pile right next to it on the left, or onto the pile three places to the left, as long as the two top cards share a suit or a rank. Each move squeezes the row shorter, like the bellows of an accordion. Get down to a single pile and you have won — and fewer piles is always better. Switch on Relaxed mode for deals proven to be winnable, and use Hint and Undo when you need a nudge. Free to play in your browser — no download, no sign-up.
How to Play
Tap a pile to move it onto the pile 1 or 3 places to its left. The two top cards must match in suit or rank. Squeeze the row into as few piles as you can — one pile wins. Relaxed mode deals only winnable games.
