Push every crate onto its target — pushing is easy, un-pushing is impossible.
About Sokoban
The Japanese warehouse-keeper puzzle from 1982 and still the purest test of thinking ahead ever coded. Push crates through tight corridors onto the marked spots. The catch that makes it immortal: you can push but never pull, so one careless shove against a wall is forever. Eight hand-checked levels, an undo button, and no shame in using it. Free to play in your browser — no download, no sign-up.
How to Play
Move with swipes, arrow keys or the buttons; walk into a crate to push it. You can never pull — corners and walls are traps. Park every crate on a green dot to clear the level. ↩ undoes.
Tips & Strategy
Before your first push, find the corners: a crate shoved into a corner (or against a wall it can't leave) is dead, and so is the level.
Think destination-first. For each crate, pick its target spot and walk the route backwards — you'll spot early on which side you must push from.
Order matters: clear crates furthest into dead-end corridors first, before other crates block your pushing lanes.
Use undo like a scientist: try a line, learn where it jams, rewind. Solving in your head is nobler; solving at all is the point.
