Bridges (Hashi)
Puzzle Games ยท 9 playsBridges (Hashi)
Join numbered islands with straight bridges so each gets its number and every island links up.
Quick start
Tap the space linking two islands: once for a single bridge, twice for a double, three times to remove it. An islandโs number is the exact count of bridges touching it. Bridges go straight, may not cross one another, and no pair of islands takes more than two. Join every island into one connected network to finish.

About this game
A calm puzzle that feels like drawing a map. The grid is dotted with round islands, each showing a number from one to eight. Your job is to connect them with bridges that run straight across or down, never diagonally and never crossing one another. An islandโs number is the exact count of bridges it must have, and any two islands can share one or two bridges. When every number is satisfied, all the islands must also form one connected network. Puzzles grow bigger as the levels rise, with Undo and a Check button to help. Free to play in your browser, with no download and no sign-up.
Family tips
Start with islands that have no choice. An island showing 8 needs double bridges in all four directions, and a 1 with only one neighbour must connect to it.
Corner and edge islands are easier to solve. A 4 in a corner with only two neighbours must have double bridges to both, and a 6 on an edge needs doubles all round.
Watch out for isolated groups. If two 1s are neighbours, they canโt connect to each other, because together they would form a closed pair cut off from the rest of the map.
