The casino table classic, just you against the dealer. Get closer to 21 than the house without going over. Aces count as one or eleven, face cards are ten, and a two-card 21 is an instant blackjack. How to Play
Place a bet, then Hit for another card or Stand to hold. Go over 21 and you bust. Beat the dealer's total to win; a two-card 21 pays extra. Double down to double your bet for exactly one more card. Dealer stands on 17.
Tips & Strategy
Always assume the dealer's hidden card is a ten -- it's the most common value. That means when they show 7 or higher, keep hitting until you reach at least 17.
Against a dealer's weak upcard (4, 5 or 6), stand on anything 12 or more and let them risk the bust.
Double down on 11, and on 10 unless the dealer shows a 10 or Ace.
Never chase losses by raising your bet after a bad hand -- the math doesn't care about your last round.
